Q: How much does it cost?

A: Ticket prices range between $195 and $500 depending on how “involved” you want to get in the music summit.  


Q: I Just purchased a ticket online, will the ticket be sent to me in the mail?

A: There are no tickets. Summit passes will be issued on the day of the event during registration. You will need to bring a copy of your order confirmation and a picture ID to validate your purchase.


Q: What time does the event start?

A: Pre-summit events will kick-off Friday Night September 17th, 8pm at the summit Mixer location TBA and actual summit will start at 11am Sept 18th at Potawatomi Casino.


Q: What topics are going to be covered during the summit?

A: Summit Theme is "I Am Music: Make Your Music Work For You" and includes panels covering these topics:

Q: Why Milwaukee, WI

A: Why not? Milwaukee, WI is centrally located,  it’s a close distance to most Midwestern citites and can accommodate all of our needs.


Q: Who is all scheduled to speak at the event?

A: The keynote Speakers and panelist will be announce JULY 3rd,2010


Q: Can I register for the event on September 18th (the same day as the summit)?

A: Yes! Pre-Registration (for pre-registered guest only) opens at 3pm- 6pm Sept 17th at the Alof Hotel (click here for more info) and General and Post-registration will start from 9am -11pm Sept 18th at Potawatomi Casino (it is suggested that you arrive early to register due to the large number of attendees).


Q: Do you have hotel accommodations lined up for us?

A: Your ticket price does not include a hotel room however; we have contacted all of the hotels in the downtown Milwaukee area and have listed the hotels with the best prices and location. Click Here for details


Q: How Can I perform at the Summit?

A: You can perform or showcase your music in two ways, either by registering to be a Featured Artist on the IMMMS website who will then be selected by panelist and summit committee (click here for details), or by signing up for the “The Next Midwest Superstar” showcase at broadjam.com Click Here for more details


Q: I have a group and want to audition for the competition, do we all have to pay?

A: Yes and No, you will all need to register for the Summit individually, But if you want to enter the competition, only one of you will need to pay the featured artist or A&R listening session.

 

Q: I'm under 18 years of age, does my parent have to pay?

A: No, you will only need one ticket. If you are a minor (under 18- Must show proof of age) your parent will not have to pay the registration fee. MINORS WILL ONLY BE ALLOWED IN THE DESIGNATED SUMMIT AREAS. NO ONE UNDER AGE WILL BE ALLOWED IN THE CASINO SECTION OF THE BUILDING.


Q: What do I need to bring to the summit?

A: You should bring anything that will promote you (ie: Demo, Business cards, Promo packets, Beat CDs, etc). This is your chance to network with 100s of Industry peers & professional, You don’t want to miss an opportunity.


Q: Why are the ticket prices so high?

A: We tried to make this event as affordable as we could. Our ticket prices are lower than most conferences. There are a lot of expenses that go into putting something like this together and the pricing helps us to bring the individuals that you want to network with the most.  We are providing you with a unique opportunity to help build your music careers... which is priceless.
